The story is about Kabir, a chartered accountant, who lives happily with his wife Jyoti and children Janhvi and Dhruv in Dehradun. They decided to spend a weekend together at their farmhouse in a remote hill town. On the way, they stopped at a roadside eatery for lunch and met a man named Vanraj. He offered to pay for their tea and joined them at their table. When Janhvi reached the farmhouse, she grabbed some delicious biscuits and went to join her family at the swimming pool. Vanraj’s phone battery died, causing him to arrive shortly after and ask if he could wait there for a while until it charged. Despite Jyoti’s skepticism about how he had found out about their farmhouse, Kabir kindly agreed to let him stay. During their dinner, Kabir was a bit upset with Vanraj as he was interrupting their conversation too much. When Kabir asked Vanraj to leave, Vanraj refused to comply. Sometime later, the police reached the farmhouse, saying that someone called them saying they were in danger. Vanraj, Jyoti had secretly called the police from another cell phone. Kabir and Jyoti are unable to ask the police for help as Vanraj has ordered Janhvi to stay in the kitchen and blow up the gas cylinder if anyone tries to reveal the truth to the police. They lie to the police that their son had called the police as a prank and that he is asleep in his room, but in reality Vanraj has instructed them to keep him hidden in the bedroom as his forehead is bleeding profusely after being hit. the police leave the farmhouse.
Kabir offers to give Vanraj too much money and requests him to leave and hell out Janhvi’s life. Vanraj accepts the offer and goes, taking the money with him. However, Kabir and Jyoti realize that Janhvi has not returned to her normal self and is still under Vanraj’s control. They rush to call Vanraj back and find him standing by the front door, having burned all the money that Kabir gave to him. He enters the house again and orders Janhvi to slap herself early. As Jyoti tries to comfort her, Vanraj orders her to slit Jyoti’s throat with a knife, which makes Jyoti back off.

Kabir arrives there and attacks Vanraj, overpowering him. He then cuts off Vanraj’s tongue and throws it into the fire. Meanwhile, all the girls, including Janhvi, tried to attack Kabir. However, Kabir had an idea up his sleeve. He secretly recorded Vanraj’s voice uttering the phrase “I free you” in a different context. When Kabir played this audio recording, all the girls were freed from Vanraj’s control, and they returned to their normal selves. The whole family later reunited at the hospital, and they all recovered from their injuries.
Kabir’s bravery saved many lives, and the police were quick to thank him. They also informed Kabir that Vanraj was missing, and they were on the lookout for him. Sometime later, Kabir was seen at an isolated spot where he had secretly kept Vanraj tied up in chains. Kabir was seeking revenge for what Vanraj had done to Janhvi, but he didn’t provide him with proper food and water. Kabir made it clear to Vanraj that he would do anything to protect his family. After leaving the spot, Vanraj screamed for help, while Kabir disappeared into the night.
